John Wise joined HHM in 2020 as a senior accountant. Since joining the firm, John has provided tax preparation and audit work for clients in various industries. John’s attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and communication skills allow him to add value to each engagement he supports. When asked how he defines success, John explained that for him, success is the achievement of strategic and personal goals to drive value for the firm, its clients, and his own personal growth.
Born and raised in New Albany, MS, John attended Mississippi State University for both undergraduate and graduate degrees in Accounting. Prior to joining HHM, John worked for two years at Pfizer Inc. and interned with Deloitte in the Memphis office. John and his wife will welcome their first child in May of this year.
When John isn’t working, you can find him reading, exercising, spending time with his wife and friends, keeping up with all thing Mississippi State athletics, traveling to new places and checking out the local restaurants and breweries that Memphis has to offer.
